Fellowship Haven Chorus

The Fellowship Haven Chorus was an outreach of Fellowship Haven Church in Washington DC. Fellowship Haven Church was started as an Amish-Mennonite missionary effort in the mid-1960s, in the urban neighborhood of Kenilworth. The chorus was a remarkable expression of the cross-cultural relationships built between white Amish-Mennonite mission volunteers and Black young adults from the local public housing complex. Like all Beachy Amish-Mennonite choirs, they sang a capella.

Listen to the song, “We’ve Come This Far By Faith,” from the album of the same name.

Listen to the song, “Rainbow of Love,” from the album Jesus Take My Hand.
